How do I know which floor mats fit my car?
Five things decide which mat set fits: make, model, year, seat count and engine. Enter those in the vehicle selector on any product page and it confirms whether your exact configuration is on file. Make and model alone are not enough, because the same model can have several different floor pans in the same year.
Why make and model are not enough
Manufacturers change floor pans mid generation, offer the same model with two and three row layouts, and route batteries and exhaust differently depending on the powertrain. A 2019 and a 2024 of the same nameplate can have different footwell shapes, different anchor positions and a different rear floor.
This is why the Matrikar database is organised by configuration rather than by model. It holds 13,113 configurations across 780 make and model pairs from 55 manufacturers, for model years 2010 to 2027.

What each of the five answers changes
Make and model
These select the family of templates. Note that pickups are split by cab type, not grouped under one nameplate. A Ford F-150 SuperCrew, SuperCab, Regular Cab and Lightning are four separate vehicles with four separate cuts, because the cab length changes the rear footwell entirely.
Year
The year narrows the template to the right generation and the right facelift. A mid cycle refresh often changes the console shape and the position of the floor anchors even when the exterior looks similar.
Seat count
Seat layout decides how many pieces are in the set and what shape the rear mat is. A five seat version and a seven seat version of the same SUV have a different second row and, in one case, a third row floor that does not exist in the other.
Engine
Powertrain is the one people skip, and it is the one that catches them out. Matrikar covers gasoline, hybrid, mild hybrid, plug in hybrid, electric and fuel cell versions as separate configurations, because battery packs, exhaust routing and floor mounted hardware change the floor pan underneath.
Check your vehicle in one step
The selector appears on every product page. Choose make, model, year, seats and engine, and it tells you whether the configuration is covered before you add anything to the cart.
There are also dedicated pages per vehicle at addresses of the form /collections/make-model-floor-mats. Each one states, in plain text, how many configurations are covered for that model, which model years, which seat layouts, and whether the set shipped for each layout is a front and rear set or a 3-row set. A hundred of these pages are published today, starting with the models Matrikar sells most, for example the Toyota RAV4, the Jeep Wrangler and the Tesla Model 3.
What if your vehicle has no page
A vehicle without a published page can still be covered. The pages are a subset, published for the highest volume models first. The selector queries the complete database, so run your vehicle through it before assuming it is not on file.
What happens if it still does not fit
In some cases Matrikar contacts the buyer before production starts to confirm details about the vehicle, since every set is cut to order and nothing is held in stock. If a set arrives and the fit is wrong, it is replaced free.
Then choose the coverage
Once the vehicle is confirmed, the last choice is how much floor you want covered. Front Only covers the driver and passenger positions. Full Coverage adds the rear row. The 3-Row Set adds the third row, for vehicles that have one. The trunk floor is a separate product, covered by a trunk mat cut to the cargo floor.
